nbn connectivity
Internet for your business, private connections between sites, or nbn services for your customers.

Start with one
No minimum service count and no Underlay setup fees. Third-party charges and any service-specific commitments are identified before you order.
Test it yourself
On-demand nbn tests in the portal and API, with nbn's own results.
Built for your network
Use Underlay addresses or bring portable prefixes to Layer 3. For resellers, we protect your customer relationship and don't market to your customers.

Who it's for
- Businesses connecting their offices to the internet or a private network
- ISPs that want nbn without running their own aggregation
- MSPs adding connectivity to managed IT
- Providers bringing customer sites onto a private network
Three ways to take it
Layer 3 internet connects your business or customer sites without an NNI. Choose Layer 2 for your own termination, or L3VPN to connect sites privately.
| Attribute | Layer 2 | Layer 3 internet | Layer 3 private (L3VPN) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Who terminates | You | Underlay | Underlay |
| Addressing | Yours | Underlay, or yours (BYOIP) | Yours |
| Handoff | L2 NNI · 10G / 100G | No NNI needed | L3VPN over your NNI, or to your colo |
| Best for | Providers with their own BNG | Business internet or resale without building a core | Bringing every site back to your network |

Each nbn service is delivered at Layer 2. Your network terminates every session.
We terminate every session and route it to the internet over our network, transit and IX peering, on our IPs or on yours (BYOIP).
We terminate every session and return all of them to your network over one L3VPN.

We receive the connection and service-location details needed for your order. We use them to quote, operate, support and bill services, prevent fraud, improve services and meet legal obligations, as described in our Privacy Policy. For resellers, this includes the connection details for your end customers. We do not use wholesale customer details to market to them, including for Warp. Authorised contact and safety or legal exceptions may apply.
Who does what
The technical responsibilities below apply to your service. We agree the delivery point and any additional support in your order.
You
- Provide accurate site details and arrange agreed installation access
- Manage your router, LAN and devices unless included in the order
- Run available test tooling for individual faults; report an obvious network emergency immediately
- Terminate services yourself if you choose Layer 2
Underlay
- Aggregate and operate the nbn services
- Terminate and route services (Layer 3 modes)
- Announce authorised portable prefixes from AS152590 where BYOIP is agreed
- Monitor the network 24/7
- Work individual escalations with nbn in business hours, excluding NSW public holidays
Buying for your own business? We support your authorised contacts directly under our Business Terms.
If you resell this service
You manage your customer relationship, billing and frontline support, including the disclosures and consumer protections that apply to your offer. We support your authorised contacts under our Wholesale Terms. We normally refer your customers back to you. Authorised contact and safety or legal exceptions may apply. We do not use wholesale customer details to market to them, including for Warp.
Questions
Can we buy for our own business?
Yes. We supply internet and private nbn connectivity for your own sites, as well as services for resale. We support your authorised contacts directly when you buy for your own use; resellers handle their customers' frontline support.
Where can you deliver?
Send us the address and the delivery mode you need. We confirm the nbn product, access technology, available speed tiers and our ability to supply that service before you order. An nbn-enabled address alone does not confirm availability.
Can we test services ourselves?
Yes. Run on-demand nbn tests from the portal or the API and get nbn's own results back.
Can we use our own IP addresses?
Yes, for portable prefixes you hold or are authorised to use. Managed Layer 3 internet can use your IPv4 /24 or IPv6 /48, originated by AS152590 with your authority and matching ROAs. Addresses owned by a former provider may not be portable.
If we resell, do our customers ever deal with you?
If you resell, you provide frontline support and we normally refer your customers back to you. We may contact them with your authorisation or where safety or the law requires it. We do not use wholesale customer details to market to them, including for Warp.
